The Curator

Seller's Journey

Curation Stage

Submit your piece with 5+ photos, including clear proofs such as serial numbers, logos, and invoices.

Expert Review

Every item is analyzed by human specialists. If authenticity requires deeper validation, we request extra proofs to ensure only original gems in Excellent to New condition are published.

Service Fee

Le Vault charges a 12% service fee on your sale price. You receive 88% of your listed or negotiated price, paid to your wallet after the buyer confirms delivery.

Ship the Item

After the sale, you have 3 business days to carefully package the item and ship it via the carrier chosen at checkout (Colissimo, Chronopost, Mondial Relay, etc.).

Mark as Shipped

The tracking number is generated automatically by Le Vault as soon as your sale is paid, via Sendcloud. After handing the parcel to the carrier, go to your inbox → order → and mark it as shipped. The buyer is automatically notified and can follow the shipment in real time.

Receive Payment

Payment stays in escrow until the buyer confirms receipt of the item in the conditions described by the seller. If the buyer does not confirm within 48 hours, the system releases it automatically.

Photography

Sellers submit clear photographs of the piece — front, back, interior, serial number, logos, and any wear. Minimum 5 photos required.

Documentation

Purchase invoices, receipts, certificates of authenticity, or any provenance document are requested from the seller.

Seller Verification (KYC)

Every seller goes through an identity verification process before being approved. Professional sellers provide business registration documents.

Team Review

Our team reviews each submission manually. Listings that meet our standards are published. Those that do not are returned to the seller with written feedback.

05 — SECURE PAYMENTS

POWERED BY STRIPE.

Every transaction on Le Vault is processed through Stripe, one of the world's most trusted payment platforms. When a buyer completes a purchase, their payment is held securely in escrow by Stripe — it is never released to the seller until the buyer confirms receipt of the item in the described condition. This escrow mechanism protects both parties: buyers are guaranteed they will receive what they paid for, and sellers are guaranteed payment upon successful delivery. Le Vault charges a 12% service fee on each sale, and a 3% Buyer Protection Fund is added to each purchase to cover disputes and incidents. All payouts are made in Euros directly to the seller's verified bank account via Stripe.
