Sellers warrant they are the legal owner of items listed, all descriptions are accurate, items are as described, and no counterfeit or stolen items are listed. Shipping must occur within 5 business days of sale confirmation.
Buyers must confirm delivery within 48 hours of receipt or open a dispute, use the platform dispute mechanism for claims, and not attempt transactions outside the platform.
A 12% service fee is deducted from the seller's payout. A 3% Buyer Protection Fund contribution is added to the buyer's total. Shipping costs are borne by the buyer.
All payments are held in escrow until the buyer confirms delivery or the 48-hour dispute window expires.
Sellers are solely responsible for the safe packaging and dispatch of sold items. Buyers pay for shipping with declared-value insurance included at checkout — the carrier's insurance is the primary coverage for any loss, damage, or theft during transit. Le Vault accepts no liability for incidents occurring during transportation once the item has been handed to the carrier.
The 3% Buyer Protection Fund contribution collected at checkout is a secondary safeguard, activated only if the carrier does not provide a full refund for a verified claim. Covers: item significantly different from description, item not received within 14 working days after shipment, or confirmed authenticity fraud upon presentation of official documentation (carrier loss declaration, photographic evidence or equivalent); The Buyer Protection Fund does not replace carrier insurance; it supplements it where carrier coverage is insufficient or denied. By completing a purchase on Le Vault, buyers acknowledge and accept the scope and limitations of the Buyer Protection Fund as defined herein.
Le Vault is a peer-to-peer marketplace. Sellers are responsible for the authenticity and accurate description of items listed. As part of our listing review process, Le Vault requires sellers to submit supporting documentation — photographs, purchase invoices, serial numbers, and relevant certificates — and conducts a review for quality and consistency. Le Vault does not authenticate items, verify provenance, or guarantee material composition.
Strictly prohibited: counterfeit or replica items, stolen goods, items infringing intellectual property rights.
Le Vault acts as an intermediary. Our liability is limited to the value of the disputed transaction.
These terms are governed by Estonian law. As a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection law of your country of residence.
Le Vault may amend these terms at any time. Members will be notified by email of material changes.
